Using this website
These terms apply to draftmica.com and to the styling sessions that Draft Mica arranges through it. By using the site you accept them. If you disagree with any part, please do not use the site or book a session.
The journal, the gallery and the service descriptions are provided for general information. Fashion advice is a matter of taste and circumstance, so read the articles as ideas to try, not as rules. We may change, pause or withdraw any page without notice, and we may update these terms as the studio's offer develops; the date at the top of the page shows the current version.
Our services
Draft Mica offers four kinds of personal styling: a wardrobe audit, an event styling session, a seasonal style refresh and an ongoing consultation of monthly message check-ins with one in-person session each season. Every session is one-to-one and, unless we agree otherwise, takes place in person in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture.
This website does not take payments and does not sell or ship goods. It describes what we do and gives you a way to contact us; the agreement for a session is made by email, as set out below.
Quotes, fees and payment
We do not list fixed prices, because sessions differ in length and preparation. After you describe what you need, we send a written quote by email that states the session, the date, the fee in yen including consumption tax, any extra costs, and how and when payment is due. A booking exists only once you have accepted that quote in writing.
Nothing on this site is a binding offer. Descriptions, hours and availability can change before we confirm a booking in writing.
Booking, changes and cancellation
Please tell us as early as you can if you need to move or cancel a session. The conditions for rescheduling and cancellation are written into the quote you accept, so they match the session you booked rather than a one-size-fits-all rule.
If we cannot deliver a session as quoted, we will refund the fee for whatever was not delivered. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by anything on this page.
What we advise, and what we do not promise
A session gives you a considered opinion on what to wear and what to buy. It cannot promise how an outfit will be received by an employer, a host or a guest, and it does not replace the instructions of the people organising your event. Where an invitation states a dress code, that wording takes priority over our suggestions.
Any shopping plan we produce is a suggestion. You decide what to buy, where and at what price, and we receive no payment from shops or brands for the pieces we mention. Please give us honest information about your budget, your size and any limits on what you can wear or buy, because advice built on guesses is rarely worth much.
Content and copyright
The articles, the text and the layout of this site belong to Draft Mica unless a page says otherwise. You may quote a short passage with a link back to the page. Please ask before republishing an article or using the material commercially, and do not copy the site's text or design in a way that suggests a link with Draft Mica.
Photographs on the site are stock images used to illustrate styling ideas; the people shown are not clients or staff of the studio.
Photos and information you send us
If you send photographs of your wardrobe or outfits, you confirm that you are entitled to share them. We use them only to prepare and deliver your session, we do not publish them, and we handle them as described in the privacy policy.
Links to other sites
Where an article mentions a shop, a venue or another website, the link is there for your convenience. We do not control those sites, we do not endorse everything on them, and their own terms and privacy notices apply once you leave this one.
Liability
We take care over what we publish and what we advise, but we are liable only to the extent Japanese law requires. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as a purchase you made that you later regret, or for a site outage that stops you reading a page. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for our own intent or gross negligence toward a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking, the Saga District Court is the court of first instance, without taking away any right you have to sue in another court under mandatory consumer law.

Price: stated in yen, including consumption tax, in the written quote for each session. Other charges: none beyond the quote; if a session outside Karatsu involves travel costs, they are listed in the quote before you accept.
Payment: the method and the due date are written in the quote. When the service is provided: on the date agreed in writing. Cancellation and refunds: as written in the quote and in section 04 above.
